Dwarfed by its near neighbour in terms of size and fame but successfully carving a niche for itself in a crowded marketplace the Welsh Highland railway has a character all of its own. Our ilm is present on a gala day and some interesting motive power is in operation!

Arguably the most romantic of all England's small railways this line on the edge of Exmoor is coming back to life through sheer willpower and hard work. Our cameras were present on a very blustery day to tell the history and look at current day practice.
